Campaign #128 *was* for Stacey Abrams and Cynthia Parr
I say “was” because the list was gone so fast, I didn’t have time to post about it. I’m posting now out of respect for Cynthia, the Democrat running for Post 4 of Georgia’s second-largest school district, Cobb County Schools. She took a big step to decide to run. I’m glad we were able to help with the GOTV part of her campaign.
If you wrote cards for this candidate pairing, share them on our Facebook Page. I know Cynthia (who happens to be my neighbor) was thrilled beyond words that we were lending a hand to boost her name recognition with Democratic voters.
By the way, my own home address was in the list. I look forward to receiving my very first, actual #PostcardsToVoters card and posting it here.
The list was short by today’s standards. It was for just one portion of the school district. That’s definitely part of it. The other part is just that there are fewer Democrats voting in primaries here. Fingers crossed this wave election, Stacey’s inspiring campaign, and your postcards are enough in combination to generate 50% +1 for more Democratic candidates in this midterm year than any other.
Thanks for writing – even for candidates further down the ballot!
